As you can see from the map below Vero Beach is a small seaside community on the east coast of  Florida.  The home at 2086 Porpoise Point Lane N. is one of the more attractive houses for rent in the area.

The city has provided parking for all comers to the markedly wide beach with clean, gleaming light-brown sand and emerald green water. Walk along the beach a quarter-mile north of the entrance point, and you'll have a virtual wilderness all to yourself.

 

Transportation:  Four international airports serve Vero Beach - Orlando (2 hours drive),

                               Melbourne (40 minutes drive), West Palm Beach (2 hours drive) and

                               Ft. Lauderdale (2.5 hours drive).

Beyond the beach, Vero Beach is best known for Dodgertown, where the Los Angeles Dodgers get ready for the summer game, and Indian River fruit. For the uninitiated, Indian River citrus is by far the king of Florida fruit. Roadside stands and groves sell fresh-picked oranges, grapefruit, and tangerines that have to be tasted to be believed. And no Florida vacation would be complete with indulging in some fresh-squeezed orange juice.
